Commercial: new sonic logo for YAZOO

We’ve composed and produced a new sonic logo for YAZOO.

The brief was to encapsulate YAZOO’s “Milk. Shaken up.” brand in sound.

We designed a sonic palette that blends wobbly synths and fresh acoustic guitars with real live bottles of YAZOO being shaken up.  Then we used that palette to compose quirky loops and shaky melodies.

Once we had the hooks in place, we cut it down to 3 seconds for the current YAZOO radio campaign:

We also handled the voiceover search.

Combined Mind commissioned us to compose an original soundtrack to this promo for Elsepage – a sweet score for piano, strings and french horn.  Super fast turnaround as we only had about a day to spare, but thankfully director Ross Webb of Mindway Media gave a great brief which made it lots easier.

Stuart Nicholas White (of David Morrissey’s Don’t Worry About Me) was Director of Photography, and James Abadi (The Story of ****) produced.

Commercial: QTel ‘Girl’, produced by Smoke & Mirrors

We’ve scored a second TV commercial for QTel as part of their ‘Fuel Your Senses’ rebrand.

Our soundtrack moves from orchestral to pop dance and back again as it follows the girl’s journey through space, fashion, track & field and ice cream.

The spot is now airing across the Middle East and was produced by Smoke & Mirrors.
