Makers, Amadin Ryan’s feature documentary about the UK indie film industry, premieres today at special screenings in the Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival.

One of our tracks has become the main theme, and two more are also featured:

Mega thanks to Amadin, Shibe Alawiye and Julian Gaskell for wanting them in. Here is a photo of them with Joce Capper, MD of Rushes:

Mark French‘s short documentary film The Catch, about Laetitia Yhap’s fishing industry paintings, screens at the Shot By The Sea festival next month. It will be shown at the Electric Palace, Hastings (one of the three best boutique cinemas in the UK, says The Guardian).

We composed the score for The Catch using sounds from the beach, the fishermen and Laetitia Yhap herself, alongside harp and strings.  Oh, and an accordion playing a sea shanty.

Here’s the full set – ‘An Ending’ is our favourite:

The film is also showing as part of the Memorial Gallery‘s Laetitia Yhap retrospective.

Here’s a full reel of music we’ve composed for films.
